I rented from Jessica for 2 years , I highly recommend her as a landlord. When I moved in , it was freshly painted and ready to move in . The hardwood floors were beautiful and the rugs looked brand new. The outside had shrubs, flowers and well maintained lawn. The only reason I moved out was because we got a house. I had no problems getting my security back . I excellent landlords , I give them A+.

I rented one of the apartments at 102 High St for about 3 years. Jess and James were fantastic as landlords! They were responsive to any issues that needed attention and were respectful about privacy. One of my favorite things was how understanding they were about things that came up for me throughout my lease.
The apartment was wonderful and had plenty of space. I would absolutely rent from them again and believe if you rent from them you will have a similar experience!

I highly recommend any property managed by Jessica and James !! Not only are the properties beautiful and well-maintained but Jessica and James are highly responsive to any new issues that arise ! They are very kind and extremely helpful The apartment I lived in was beautiful with fresh paint and newly redone hardwood floors. Again , I would definitely rent from them again and recommend them highly !!

When we moved to the area for a new job, my husband and I needed to quckly and temporarily rent a furnished apartment due to a house deal falling through at the last minute. We contacted Jessica and arranged to rent the apartment without ever having stepped foot in the place. She and James were very accommodating and got the place ready for us quickly. The apartment was beautiful and we were very happy with our stay there. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking to rent in Brattleboro.

I decided to pursue a career as a travel nurse in the Summer of 2018. My company suggested Brattleboro Vermont. I was so nervous... I began to search for places to live. First and foremost I was worried about my safety. I reached out to Jessica and she put all my fears to rest as she assured me that the location and area was safe. She was exactly right. I chose to rent the apartment they had for rent on High Street and resided there for 9 months. I absolutely loved the apartment, which was furnished with everything I needed. I walked downtown and back at all hours and felt completely safe. I will never forget the day I moved in, I was welcomed in the most generous way... if I ever needed anything or an issue arose....Jessica was on it that very day. I strongly recommend Jessica and James. Y’all the best. Thank you 😃

Rented this apartment. Great landlords - no complaints. They rented it quickly so I could move out early. Great place to be in VT can walk to everything.

Stayed in 118 High Street for three months and loved it. Great, warm apartment, good internet, and we loved being able to walk downtown for a bite to eat, drink, movie, or shop or head the other way and walk for miles through the forest! We really enjoyed our time in the apartment and Jessica and James were great landlords who even gave us a Christmas present! ❤️

My husband and I lived in 118 High St. #3 for 5 months, and we loved the location! Jessica and James are exceptionally lovely people, and they were VERY quick and attentive to our needs. The decor was charming and homey, and we always felt comfortable and cozy in this place.

We stayed at 118 High st in apartment #1. We absolutely loved everything about our stay! The old charm of the building, the convenient location and the lovely people we had the opportunity to meet.
Jessica and James welcomed our family into their property and were very pleasant to work with.
I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to visit Brattleboro or are in the area for work.

We relocated to the area for work with our small family. We rented 263 Canal St #2, site unseen. The space worked great for us and was furnished thoughtfully for our family. With the business below, it was exceptionally private feeling. James and Jessica were AMAZING landlords who were highly responsive and exceptionally efficient at fixing any problems we encountered. Our 1.5 year stay was welcoming, warm, and well spent in their property. We would highly recommend them for you housing needs!

I had to relocate for a clinical rotation and rented 118 High st #3. It was perfect for what me and my roommate were looking for (close to work, easy parking, furnished). The apartment felt like home after our first night there. Jessica and James were wonderful landlords who warmly greeted us. They were always available to answer any questions we had. It was difficult saying goodbye to the apartment after our 3 months were up. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a furnished apartment in the Brattleboro area!

I am a travel Nurse Practitioner with a small dog and have found it difficult in the past to find appropriate accommodations for long term lodging in the local area due the pet policies. I was so grateful to find the perfect apartment at 118 high street unit # 2, which was available for my 4 month assignment and was pet friendly!
James and Jessica provide a beautifully furnished apartment inside a 19th century Victorian Home. It features refinished hardwood floors and perfectly selected pieces of antique that add character to this apartment. They also ensure the most modern conveniences are available , providing a smart TV and wireless internet. These are both items I have have been without at some locum assignments , when the Air B/B is too rural for any television or the internet at the hotel is too weak or difficult to access. James and Jessica are warm, immediately responsive to any issue and go out of their way to ensure you are comfortable and happy in your rental. The area is very safe and the local neighbors are friendly. The school crossing guard is at the intersection directly in front of this home and greets every dog with a dog treat as they pass and knows them all by name. I was also stuck in the snow and 3 gentleman ran to my rescue without hesitation to push me out.

Had to find a long term rental quickly sight unseen. Great experience and no surprises. Jessica met us at the rental on Canal St. and gave us the run down on everything. We had a few hiccups after moving in with clogged drain and other minor things which were quickly resolved. There wasn't a washer and dryer which was a deal breaker for us but she promised they were working on having one installed in the basement. It took a bit longer but not a fault of hers and all worked out eventually. Thank you Jessica and James.

My family rented Meme’s Lake house in February for the second year in a row. We love the location, a little more than a half hour from Mount Snow, 20 mins to both Wilmington and Bennington, and less than a mile from Prospect Mountain with its miles of cross country skiing.

The house sits right on Big Pond, a 1/3 mile long lake that’s frozen over in the winter. There are wonderful views of Big Pond out of just about every room.

The kitchen is well appointed with multiple ways to make coffee, a margarita/smoothie/frozen drink maker, and lots of pantry basics like spices and oils.

The beds are comfy, and the three different living areas gives everyone room to spread out and have some space, if needed.

Jessica and James are great hosts — from the small pile of welcome gifts to being very responsive if you have any questions.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Meme’s Lake House to anyone!

New to Brattleboro, I was so happy to find the High Street apartment! The apartment is beautiful, well cared for, perfectly warm during the Vermont winter, and walkable to everything. Jessica and James are uniquely special people. They are kind, thoughtful, compassionate, and extremely responsive to tenants needs. The few times a problem arose, Jessica always responded right away. She takes her responsibility seriously and knows how to problem solve quickly without inconveniencing tenants. I am grateful to have had such a great all round rental experience!

We stayed at the Frost Street apartment in Brattleboro this past spring for a few months. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a long term stay. Jess and James were very responsive and went way over the top to make sure that we felt safe and comfortable in our shared living experience. Can’t thank Jess and James enough for rescuing us from a less than comfortable living situation that we were in before. We felt right at home on frost street and would rent any property from them in the future. They put thought into every detail of furnished living, we even had a Vermont themed welcome package to help us settle in to our new digs!

We loved our stay at 182 High St #1! The apartment was well kept and fully stocked with everything we needed for our long-term stay. It was great being able to walk to town in 5 mins!

Jess was super accommodating and extremely responsive to our needs. When we needed to move out earlier than planned, she was very understanding and worked with us so we could end our lease.

We highly recommend renting from Jess!

I had a wonderful experience with a short term furnished rental! Jess was very easy to reach and the rental was very well stocked and cozy! I can't say enough great things about these folks! I highly recommend them and their rentals!

I lived in the 118 High St unit for two years and had a great experience living there. James and Jessica are very nice people and did a great job responding to any questions or concerns I had. I highly recommend renting from them if you are looking for housing in the Brattleboro area.

I stayed in a unit of 118 High St. for three months. Nice space, and Jessica and James are excellent landlords. Very kind, responsive, and helpful. When I did something stupid and locked myself out, Jessica was there in literal minutes to help! If you're looking for a place to stay in Brattleboro, you won't go wrong renting from them.

Jessica helped me out when I suddenly needed last minute housing. She was excellent to work with! She made everything as easy as possible. Any time that something was in need of repairs/replacement, it was taken care of in a timely manner. I would rent from them again in the future if I need a place again. The down fall for me was the parking is something of a challenge. Overall, it worked out just fine.

Jessica and James are absolutely wonderful. I stayed in two of their furnished apartments, and each had absolutely everything you could need for your stay. They go above and beyond to make your stay a pleasant one. I highly recommend.
